The Online Event will take place on the 19th of May, starting at 2 pm, and it is an event dedicated to Java and .NET specialists.

The .NET Track will focus on some of the improvements which have been released in .NET Core and ASP.NET Core 2.1, such as IHttpClientFactory and the new, more performant socket-based handler. There will also be two more bold talks, in which .NET topics will be discussed, supported by local experts.

Steve Gordon, who is Microsoft MVP, and Senior Developer at Madgex, will identify some HTTP anti-patterns and common mistakes and demonstrate how we can refactor existing code to use the new HttpClientFactory features. During the .NET track, Steve will demonstrate Polly; a fantastic resilience and transient fault handling library which can be used to make your applications less prone to failure.

The Java Track has prepared for the Bold Talks first-hand debugging techniques and other Java features, all participants of this track will get on board with a more practical approach than those they were used to in other online conferences.

Jens Schauder, Spring Data Committer at Pivotal, will present how to design an object model the DDD way, and he will offer more insights on Database Admins. In addition, there will be two more Bold Talks in which experts from top companies in Romania will discuss the challenges faced by Java programmers.
